Hello everyone!! I am very excited about having this meeting because I am sure that communicating and sharing ideas with you guys will be an invaluable opportunity for me to broaden my perspectives. Now to start out my self- introduction, my name is Jennifer, Hyungji, Kim and I was born in Madison, Wisconsin. I came back to Korea when I was 11. Although I was born in the U.S. and stayed there during my childhood, I believe most of my identity was formed in Korea. Yes, we are truly living in a globalized world, but due to many excuses I haven't had the chance or motivation to know any international students in person.

However, last semester I was lucky enough to go to the U.S. as an exchange student. And there, I met many students of many different nationalities. As I spent much time and interacted with them, I really felt it was high time I crawled out of my small well (This sounds sort of strange but don't get me wrong. i'm not that weird-_-;;) and especially happy to get to know more about our neighboring country "Japan".
